“I was struggling with motivation and focus… Kymba was amazing, being totally supportive while offering practical advice and the kick in the pants that I needed… The best tip she gave me was that the enemy of creativity is perfection. That resonated with me and was my epiphany moment.”

Oh hi! I’m Kymba, my pronouns are she/her.

Want to work with/learn from me? Awesome!

Give this a read-through first, please.

My brain’s a little sideways — spectrum, ADHD, CPTSD, depression, a touch of dyslexia, and some leftover sparks from several TBIs.
I make art and magick for minds that zig when the world demands zag.
If that’s you, then we’re already in the same coven.

I’m also on a mission! I truly & deeply believe that you’ve got a thing to make that nobody else can! I also truly and deeply believe that you’ve got valuable, radical, life-changing ideas that you need to bring to fruition. And if shining my weirdo lantern like an alternate universe Bat Signal helps you manifest your sacred thing, I’ve done my job.

VALUES CHECK: BEFORE WE CONNECT
I live in a sacred space. (So do you — you just might not know it yet…)
If you want to journey into the unknown with me — even just by email — here’s where I stand:

  • Black lives matter.
  • Trans women are women. Trans men are men. Nonbinary and agender people are real, valid, and sacred.
  • Queer love is holy. As is all love.
  • No one is illegal on stolen land.
  • Science is real. Vaccines save lives.
  • Bodily autonomy is a basic right.
  • Trump is a danger to humanity.

This isn’t about politics. It’s about integrity.
If that resonates, welcome. You’re in the right place.
If not, this isn’t where you can make your home.

More about me:

I’m an artist, filmmaker, author, and tarot creator with a lifelong obsession with the liminal — the sacred crossroads of art and magick.. I’ve dedicated nearly five decades to the passionate exploration of the hidden threads that weave the realms of art and the occult sciences.

My artistic journey has taken me through group exhibitions, solo museum shows, and international film festivals. It’s a journey that has allowed me to delve into different media weaving the tapestry of my creativity.

Especially close to my heart is the creation of tarot decks. With each card I create, I learn more of the nuances of the tarot; I first saw a deck in a movie as a child, it ignited an enduring curiosity.

This fascination led me to explore symbolism to seek knowledge of hidden truths. My quests have extended to the occult sciences, magic, and divination. I’ve immersed myself in the study of these mystical arts and the transformative power of spells and rituals.

In pursuit of a life infused with more magic & meaning, I’ve become a certified coach, dedicated to guiding others on their own journeys of personal growth & transformation. Together, let’s find empowerment at the intersection of creativity and magic

With a portfolio that ranges from large public art events to high-profile campaigns, as well as quirky, no-budget independent projects, I bring a rich tapestry of experiences that allow me to act as a guide and sounding board on your artistic journey.

I can honestly say that I’ve had both painting and sculptures in the Guggenheim Museum, with the caveat that they were face paintings and balloon sculptures created while entertaining at the Members’ Holiday Party! 😉 Some of my other commercial clients have included MLB, the US Open, Marc Ecko, and the Tribeca Film Festival.

But my creativity extends beyond the tangible, frequently straying into the mystical & the magical. Earlier, one of my socially engaged projects brought together over 300 participants who anonymously shared their sleeping dreams and creative interpretations. That collective tapestry of inner worlds reminded me: art doesn’t have to be solitary to be sacred. Now it lives on as Dreamerged — a digital sanctuary where people can leave their dreams and illustrate or interpret the dreams of others, all anonymously.

During the pandemic lockdown, I wrote, directed, and premiered my first short film — Into the Water — an embodied ritual of grief and healing about a miscarriage I experienced, and the ocean ceremony I created to release and honor that loss. It premiered at the Mumbai International Film Festival and won an award at the Andromeda Film Festival in Turkey.

Join me on this wondrous journey.

As you navigate this space, know that you are not alone; you are part of a community dedicated to uncovering the hidden depths of creativity, weaving spells of personal growth, and embracing the extraordinary power that resides at that intersection of art and magic.Thank you for being here. May we each add a touch of magic to our shared voyage.

If you’d like to visit my art page, it’s at Kymba.art. But there’s probably not much there because I’m currently fixated with making books and I frankly hate working on websites (Yeah, I know you can see that. 😉 )Thanks!

Reach out to me today. I want to help!
